Mike Clearwater – Principal Investigator

Mike is a plant physiologist with research interests in plant vascular biology, physiological ecology, fruit and flower development and horticulture. Before joining the University of Waikato he worked for eight years as a research scientist at Plant and Food Research. He teaches plant biology at undergraduate and graduate levels, coordinates the Ecology and Biodiversity program at the University of Waikato, and leads the WaiPlant research laboratory.
